Abstract
Developing countries such as Indonesia malignancy of cervical cancer is the leading cause of death of women. There are several factors that cause cervical cancer include age at first intercourse, number of vaginal births, the number of marriages, social, economic, and smoking. This study aims to determine the relationship of age to marry and parity with the incidence of cervical cell changes. This research was conducted in Puskesmas Desert in May-June 2016. The population of all women of childbearing age couple in RW 7 Village Purus totaling 108 people with Simple Random Sampling Sampling is numbered 52 people. Collecting data using an interview guide and examination IVA. Data processed by univariate and bivariate statistical tests (Chi-Square). The results of univariate there were 40 people (76.9%) no changes in cervical cells, 49 people (94.2%) are not included in the risk category of marriageable age, 30 (57.7%) parity at risk, 38 (95 %) person there is no cervical cell changes and does not reflect that risk in the age of marriage, and 23 people (57.5%), low parity and no changes in cervical cells. Bivariate analysis showed no relationship between age of marriage with the incidence of cervical cell changes (0.0664> 0.05), and there is no relationship between parity with the incidence of cervical cell changes (0,959> 0,05). The conclusion that the absence of a relationship between the age of marriage and parity with the incidence of cervical cell changes. However it is expected that women of fertile couples to stay informed and to conduct examination for early detection of cervical cancer that can be done in the clinic.
